Because they're so lovely. I'm real big on the Staycation: staying home, sleeping as much as I want, doing whatever, no pressure, no places to go...ahhh. I like traveling sometimes but that's a different kind of pain in the patootie, so I'm mostly to be found hanging out around my house for my time off.
With that in mind, I am not painting my nails this week. They've actually been kinda crappy lately so I figured I'd give them the week off, too. Sort of. I'm trying to get them into some kind of respectable shape for a certain bunch of swatching I'm going to attempt soon, so I'm pooping on them for a week.
Yep.
I had an Avon nail conditioner that I guess sorta worked but honestly, if I can't tell then I guess it really didn't. I've been eyeing butterLONDON's Horse Power for a long time so I caved and bought it a few weeks ago. They call it nail fertilizer, I call it pooping on my nails.
It's just a clear coat you're supposed to paint on once a day for a week, remove, then start over. Repeat for a whole month. I'm definitely going the first week, not too sure if I'll do the whole month. I don't think my nails look that yellow but gee when I looked at these pictures...they still look yuck.
It's a very thick polish and it dries quickly. It's also what I'm going to call a Cat Hair Mani because wow, did I paint a lot of cat hairs into it lol.
I'm really hoping it works some kind of positivity in my favor. My nails haven't been real nice for a few months now, probably a winter remnant, so we'll see how it goes.
Jess
Well as long as it does not smell poopy, I think you are good! ;)
