Update: butter LONDON Abso-bloody-lutely

I've read a lot of lacquer blogs in my time. I've seen other peoples' opinions on various polishes, and I do my best to put those out of my mind when I'm using a polish I've never tried before. That being said, I've seen a handful of people saying that butter LONDON polishes chip too easily. That it only takes a day or two and it's back to the drawing board.

Not for me! I had great luck with butter LONDON's Abso-bloody-lutely. Besides the usual tip wear I get with any polish that makes it past a day or two, and a bit of growth at the base, I had remarkably few issues: two tiny chips, on the index and pointer fingers of my right hand, and I got them both on Wednesday. That's Day 5, for those of you who're counting.

Then tonight at work, we were decorating our Christmas tree and when I slid my thumb into a plastic box that was taped shut, the plastic went right between my nail and the polish, and a big chunk broke out. That's Day 6, at around midnight thirty into Day 7. And did I mention this was with no base coat of any sort? I was so anxious to get this polish onto my hands, I didn't take the time to do it up right.

Also, this polish has impeccable timing. I'm picking up a Llarowe order tomorrow at the post office and it's chock full of exciting goodies that I can't wait to get my hands on. Stay tuned, kids!!

  2. Hi Amber!
These were exclusive colors to GOOP. Jess tells me they were on the site until recently, and when I checked they have a "bring it back" button to let them know people are still interested (you can find it here: http://www.goop.com/shop/butter-london-bespoke-nail-lacquer-set.html
The only other thing I can think of is set a notification on eBay and hope someone puts them out there?
    Thanks for the comment!
