Santa Hats

I got the idea for these from my mother, who posted this photo to my timeline on facebook way back at the beginning of November.

She loved them. She posts a lot of nail art at me but this is one she went on about in real life afterwards. I've done a brief Google image search for them and can't seem to immediately find to whom it belongs so if you know or it's yours and would like me to slap a credit on there, get in touch and I shall do so pronto.

Of course, I did not dig this picture out beforehand so I could pay attention to what was actually done. I went from memory so it does look slightly different. And as really well as I did, I messed them all up at the end. I got happy with the top coat. Too fast, too thick, and bubbled the heck out of them. But still.

Pretty pleased with myself right about now, yep. Except for that silly stupid bubbling I hadda go and do.

I also decided to get my proper photography stuff out, too, because I haven't had a reason to lately and am getting out of practice.

And there you have it. Santa hats for my first Christmas mani this year. :)

Colors used:

  1. OPI Jingleberry for hat
  2. OPI Alpine Snow for trim and puff
  3. China Glaze Travel In Colour to give the trim and puff some sparkle
The little decorations were something a seller on eBay sent me along with a polish order.
